The election of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Suffolk will take place on Thursday 5 May 2016.

The Chief Executive of the OPCC and the Chief Constable will stage a familiarisation session in the new year. All known candidates  will be invited to attend.



Stephen Baker, the Chief Executive of Suffolk Coastal and Waveney District Councils, has once again been appointed as the Suffolk Police Area Returning Officer (PARO) for the PCC election on Thursday, 5 May 2016. He will have overall responsibility for co-ordinating and running the election across the whole of the county, although local Returning Officers at District/Borough level will have responsibility for overseeing arrangements in their areas.
