PCC congratulates staff and officers as they receive long service awards

Tim Passmore was delighted to attend the Long Service Awards ceremony on Wednesday (March 20) to personally congratulate the officers and staff being honoured this year.
Over 35 members of staff and officers from Suffolk Constabulary have received long service medals after completing 20 years service.
The ceremony took place at Suffolk Police headquarters.
The Lord Lieutenant of Suffolk, Lord Tollemache presented the medals for Long Service, with the majority being awarded for 20 years service. Also in attendance at the ceremony were Chief Constable Douglas Paxton, Deputy Chief Constable Paul Marshall and Assistant Chief Officer Philip Clayton.
There were 38 medals awarded for long service, with 30 going to police officers, five to police staff and three to specials.
Fourteen of the 30 police officers to receive the medals for long service were Police Constables, while other recipients ranged from sergeants to Detective Inspectors.
